Welcome aboard! Here lives my imagination. Please make yourself at home and feel free to bring your friends, there is plenty of room in my skull.I am a published, award-winning author who has been developing new alloys of science fiction, fantasy, and surrealism since 2010. Initially, I wrote in Russian and Ukrainian languages and was published across a broad spectrum of magazines and anthologies. However, later on, life gave me the hits I couldn’t take, and I fled my creative path, feeling bitter and lost.As I sought a new purpose, I turned to English to fill the void in my soul. Learning new words was healing, in a way I never expected. Despite a solid university background, the language had existed for me only within the engineering realm. Applying it creatively was an uncharted expanse—both thrilling and intimidating. Unexpectedly, I fell in love with this magic language, and untold ideas began emerging in my mind as if something within me was unlocked. In 2015, I began writing in English. Mastering the foreign tongue was tough, but I was driven by the meaning I reclaimed. In 2020, the “Space and Time” magazine accepted one of my works, signifying that all struggles had not been in vain. Other publications followed, each one a new milestone. Along the way, I’ve established myself as a literary translator of two children’s books in the scope of a side project.Although balancing writing with daily life is extremely hard, I keep pushing forward. You may find my stories, as well as more details about my path, in the corresponding categories of this website.Thank You for coming! I believe all people are fundamentally creative, and there is a metaphysical bond between a writer and a reader. While the author delivers mere words, it is the reader who brings them to life with their unique vision. A single story is reborn through countless interpretations. This process enriches the shared realm of ideas that we all can access in moments of inspiration.Let’s stay connected and co-create together!Sincerely,Viacheslav Lazurin

As one reader concluded, this is a new tale about The Little Prince as though written by Grimm Brothers trying their skills in science fiction. Initially, this novella was released in "Machines and Mechanisms" magazine in Russian language back in 2014. The beautiful illustrations above have been created by talented artist Egor Shokoladov.
In 2021, I started translating this story into English and suddenly realized that so many things in the plot remain untold. I've begun developing new chapters, and this process is still ongoing as I desperately have to maneuver between my day job and writing. Also, the situation is aggravated by the war in my country (Ukraine). If you want to support me and this project, you can do it here. If you are curious about the story and creative process, feel free to ask any question.
So, if you are interested in science fiction genres, including (but not limited to) contemporary fantasy, post-apocalyptic stories, space opera, social and psychological SF, as well as an alternate history, then you are just one step away from my alchemical forge, where you can discover my works and learn more about the aims of my creative and spiritual journey that you are welcome to join.
